THE BOYS

The other day, I was late for work,
and my last sight before I left,
was my boyfriend Michael and my
Firefighter/EMT Cousin Wayne,
who has been staying with
us for a while from Tennessee,
helping a stranded female motorist,
who had hit something in the middle of
a dangerous intersection and whose car
was disabled..
Two big, capable, sweet guys,
came out of nowhere and got
her to safety and fixed her car.
I was like, "My People!".
My Cuz and My Boyfriend,
as always, superheroes.
And I thought,
what a lucky girl.
her...
and me.
