BRIGHT EYES

A co-worker of mine was telling me
that couldn't stop listening to
Bright Eyes cd, "I'm wide awake..".
I was like, "ohhhhh, I know".

When I first got that CD, the day
it came out, I was driving on
the 5 freeway and had to pull
off and park because it was so
beautiful, I couldn't drive.

It all started with an earlier
Bright Eyes cd, "Lifted".
This one blew me away.
Over and over.
I thought there is no way an
artist could possibly top an
effort like "Lifted".
But I figured that any effort by
an artist that good would be
worth checking out.

And then came "I'm wide awake..."
Oh My God.
It's just so amazing.
Bright Eyes and Emmy Lou Harris.
Wow.
Love it,
love it,
love it.
So good it's frightening.
