The Thief In The Knight

(this is for my two Rainbow Girls,
and any other woman who was
conned by a man,
Or anyone who has been taken by a criminal...
I love you,
I'm with you,
I lived it.
And it's not our fault
for trusting)
-------------------

The Thief In The Knight

I'm tired of smoking
I'm tired of choking
on the salt in the spoon
I was fed
until I bled
from a wound
in the heart
and the soul.

So smart
So dark
The beggar
was a chooser...
the user
the abuser
Raping rainbows
for pots of gold.

There was no soul
There was no laughter
that didn't chime of
what you were after.

The only truth
in the endless lie
was that you and I
were a puff of smoke
blown from your pipe
sitting in a throne
while wearing a robe
previously stolen
from someone else's house
where you arrived as a mouse
And left as a rat
And took the clothes
and took that fare
and anything else
you could get from there
To peddle your wares
For the next prey
And use your night
to steal the light
from another life.

Take what you can
A mouse of a man
who will never understand
That to break another
Does not make you clever
It makes you small.

And if we are left
with nothing at all
we still have more
because we have hearts
and we have souls
And surviving your wrath
put us on a path
to a strength
and a joy
you will never enjoy.

As
you
will
never
really
have
Anything.

Uncle Hero Worship

Sometimes you read about heroes.
Sometimes you see them in a documentary.
Sometimes you hear about them in stories.
I have a few...
like Frank Serpico, MLK, John Walsh,
Elenor Roosevelt, Marie Curie, Amelia Earhart, Etc.

I just found a random picture
downloaded off my old cell phone
before the "flip" part fell off,
and
Sometimes,
you just randomly meet
Heroes at a bar.

Matthew Sandusky is my hero.
(we call him UNCLE MATTHEW, or UNCLE)
He is my friend
and is the strongest, most honest person I've ever known.
We've been friends for years,
everyone thinks we are brother and sister
because we look so much alike,
He's had my back like no other,
He Is Amazing...
and handsome as hell,
and a great chef,
and a fantastic interior designer,
and pretty much does everything really well,
especially if you are lucky enough to
Be His Friend.
THAT he does the best.
I am lucky enough.
And I love him
And he is my hero.

FUN

I got SO many e-mails and comments on
love of J.T.'s artwork (I agree, he's awesome)
regarding his image of Michael and Little Joe
that I decided to send another of his.
It's called "San Francisco Scene":

AND..
I got so many messages about Angus' idea about
"Red Rose" and people who visited his site,
that I have decided to unveil him.
This is Angus and The Countess In A Pool.
The Countess is my Niece Pig.
I am Auntie Pauley to a pig
Named The Countess,
And,
I am a F.O.A. (friend of angus),
So Here They Are:

Hmmmm...
I am going to go look for one more random
funny picture, no idea what it will be....

OK, After a few minutes,
This is the strangest picture I found...
This is me and the cast of a film I did.
We all fell in love, and still are to this day,
and one day, in a rock quarry in Michigan
we laid down amongst the array of stone samples
and showed our six packs,
for absolutely no reason.
Yup...
Eli Goodman, Tony Yalda, Me, Rana Kazkaz, and Brian Pollack
In A Bunch Of Rocks For No Reason:

And just for pure awesomeness,
this is a self portrait by boyfriend Michael:

Tennessee

So, me and Michael and the dogs
drove to Nashville, Tennessee
and visited with my sister, Andi, and her kids,
Lauren and Will, and their friends
And our dear friends Kevin and Malissa,
and had a BLAST,
Then we drove to East Tennessee
and visited with all my family in
Elizabethton, Johnson City, and Jonesborough.
(I hope I spelled that right).
We had so many good times and
have great videos and pictures.
This is my very favorite picture from the week.
This is my beloved cousin, Addisyn.
(one of the cutest, smartest, happiest,
most delightful people ever).
She rides piggyback on me
and holds my hand everywhere I go.
She found an old hat in the attic,
put it on,
and I got this shot,
which makes me SO happy.
Happy girl.
She is SO beautiful!

No, Wait...
There's more...
I am sifting through pictures,
and there is a collection of what I am calling,
"The Red Rose Project".
Our dear friend in Hollywood,
Angus Oblong,
(the famous cartoonist,
www.angusoblong.net)
gave Michael a giant rose before we left
and told him to take a picture of the
rose with everyone and everything we saw,
which Michael has been doing.
(there are hundreds)
I actually took this shot,
because we all do whatever Angus demands.
It's so pretty,
I'm sharing.
This is my nephew Will,
and my boyfriend's bestest friend.
Will and Michael have some crazy bond.
They can't wait to see each other
and they play, play, play all day.
After a long day of Michael and Will
disappearing into sci-fi, super hero,
live action animation battle games,
I took this picture of Will with Angus' Rose
sitting in his little red chair on the front porch
that he sits in for hours
waiting for our car to arrive
And again,
it makes me happy.
Beautiful boy.

But wait...
There's more...
Our little dog Cece,
and Angus' big rose...
And my niece Lauren's doll
that looks just like Cece
with it's own little red rose in it's mouth...

And Me...
And Angus' rose...
With my Uncle Doug's Next Door Neighbor Cows...
(Uncle Doug's Cows were hiding in the trees)

If this progression of pictures
does not make you giggle or warm or smile,
or something...
please go back and do it again.

Cheers,
:),

CYBER SPACE OUT

I have been off line and away
from any and all computers
for like two weeks.

It's strange,
and very cool.

I like it.

Cheers!
